Mac with Adobe 9 and Pages ??? where did the file go

Hi, I work with windows and Adobe acrobat, coworker works with Mac.

Has purchased and put Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 on the mac, because she needed the pdf files that the mac creates to be optimized.

So when we were in PAGES, there are no icons she can press, so we did the File Print... changed the printer to Adobe 9 and hit print.....

Says it is prints, but who knows where? In windows it usually asks where to put it... this did nothing.

On the Mac it should also ask you where to place the pdf file. Something
is wrong. There are many standard trouble shooting techniques a Mac user
can try. However, it would be better if she were hear asking, since if
you are not familiar with the Mac OS, we would be essentially playing
telephone without the telephone.

She can try to fix permissions, log on as a different user to see if the
other user has the same problem (if not, then the problem is a corrupt
preference file), she can delete the printer instance, and then ask the
Acrobat program to fix the installation, she can try to reset the
printing subsystem and again have the Acrobat program fix the
installation (be ware that this will remove all installed printers).
There are various caches that can be emptied. There are others but that
is a start. She may not know how to do some of the above. If that is the
case have her come here for help.

Did the Pages application save the document to your Downloads folder or Documents or somewhere like that? Can you do a search on the system for .pdf files created in the last week, something like that?
