MacOS X, iBook and Floppies
I purchased a refurbished USB floppy drive from Smart Disk at a great price.
It arrived via UPS this afternoon. I noticed something about using it on the
iBook under MacOS X (Jaguar): I cannot find any command/menu item to
reformat/erase a floppy disk. Am I missing something here?

Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility
If so you could use the options under the Erase tab
