Macromedia Flash Player supporting Linux on the PS3 - Macromedia Flash Player

Can anyone tell me when Macromedia will be supporting Linux on the PS3? I am sure there are many people who have or will be installing ydl 5.0 on their ps3, and since mozilla is bundled with ydl, there is no flash player plugins to install and utilize. Anyone have any information? :frown;...

This is a fine question indeed. I am a linux user myself who just aquired a
Sony Playstation 3 (PS3). This is the first PPC based machine I have had and
was rather dissapointed in the fact that The Flash Player Plugin provided for
linux does not work in this 64bit ppc environment. I hope that Adobe addresses
this issue more quickly than Adobe/Macromedia did simply getting Flash Player
up to date for i386 linux users.

:frown;I am fed up with windows so I moved on to linux and love it. I will
never again be a slave to windows.

Although I have it on my computer, I really love to browse the internet on my
PS3 using yellow dog linux and firefox. Problem. Flash isn't supporting the
new architecture. This isn't good and I hope adobe gets on the ball and
compiles a version for the PS3/Linux.

The problem is Adobe doesn't care. Macromedia built up the Flash standard, and
now any OS/Arch who doesn't pay Adobe enough money to support the standard will
be left behind, and as such, abandoned by its users.

    Flash is now a monopoly.

To Adobe: You can delete my post if you want, but I'd rather you prove me
    wrong. :)
