Mail - Microsoft SQL / MS SQL Server

What are you passing in the Attachment parameter? The AttachFile method takes a fully qualified file name - NOT the contents that you want to mak an attachment. Do you get an error? What error? Does the email get sent? Have you tested it with a "safe" attachment type? Try with a .ZIP file to make sure it doesn't get intercepted by your mail server, mail client, or anti virus software. Extended stored procedures are executed under the security context of SQL
    Server.

By default, The MSSQL[$InstanceName] service runs under the Local System
account. This is not a domain account, and will therefore not have access
to the network. So you need to either put the file on the SQL Server
machine or change the service to Log on as a domain account.

Also, c$ is an administrative share which normally cannot be used to access
files from the network. If you decided to change the SQL Server
Service/Logon Account, create a "normal" share for the attachment file(s)
and assign permissions for the domain user account that SQL Server runs
    under.

    HTH,
    Tore.
