Make postscript file missing from MXa - Tiger - Macromedia Freehand

Hi everyone, I have a Freehand MX file I need to make a postscript file from... under Panther I had set up a print file printer... under the drop down in the FH dialogue there was an "ouput Options" selection - in Tiger this is missing. Hi everyone,
I have a Freehand MX file I need to make a postscript file from... under
Panther I had set up a print file printer... under the drop down in the
FH dialogue there was an "ouput Options" selection - in Tiger this is
missing. I have set up a virtual printer in the usual way (well same as
Panther) but I can't find a way to tell it to make a ps file APART from
the little PDF button on the bottom left of the dialogue - is this
supposed to work???.... I tried it and when I distilled it, it said
there were fonts it couldn't embed a particular family of fonts, I'm
using Fontbook for font management by the way.

I can make a print file easy through AICS and IDCS..

Anyone able to help? - davecc??

    Many thanks

    Okay, one small hiccup...

    Apple changed the Print menu.

You still select Adobe PDF as your printer, but when you go to save the file
as a PostScript, that option is gone from the drop-down menu.

Now it's in a button at the bottom left of the Print Dialog box called PDF.
Click that and you get a menu of several PDF flavors. Click the second one,
    Save PDF as PostScript.

Then it's business as usual by taking the .ps file and running it through
    Distiller.

Hope this helps, as I haven't tried it myself. I'm still on Panther, waiting
for the show grid and snap-to-grid issues to be fixed.

Ahhhh Thank you Judy.. I did try that... but I might have a problem with
    fonts not embedding...

I think I'll need to play with this... I'll try and keep you posted.

    Thanks for the help! ;)
