Making text follow the inside of an oval

Hi There,
I have been able to make text follow the outside of an oval. I want to do the same thing inside the oval. How do I do that? Also once it is there how do I center it? Can't find reference to either in the help file or classroom in a book.

The Selection Tool way is to click on the I beam and drag it across the oval line to the inside, or just double click it.

Select the text with the direct select tool (white arrow) and drag down, it will flow on the other side. You should see an I-beam looking thing when done properly that you drag down.
