You can anyway, whether you use the installer or not.
What? Keyboards don't dictate country!
You always have such an option.

I've just experimented with installing Mandrake 9.2. While I found it very easy and straight forward, I have three suggestions: 1. Allow backtracking to earlier steps. e.g. I should be able to go back and re-partition the hard disk 2. When configuring keyboard and time zone, the installer ought to add the country/time zone corresponding to the key board choice to the menu. Several common ones are there, but may not be necessary if the suggestion is done based on the keyboard 3. contact with the network is not made and B) an option to return
to configure the network.

Not on the version I have. I've clicked and pressed keys.
I note that a lot can be reconfiured once the installation
is complete, but in this case I'm talking about the
actual installation process.

Yes, keyboards do not dictate country. I myself, use several keyboard
layouts. However, if I just chose a locale and then the next menu item,
keyboards, pops up with a sampling of different choices, I'd expect the
locale I just chose to be among the choices. Just my 2 cents.

Only once the installation is complete.
