    Hi Andy,

I've tried to replicate what I think you're getting at and everything seems fine. The only time i have come across this is when I occasionaly leave my computer on all night and then use the whole of the next day I tend to get the odd blackout.

There is also the possibility that your graphics drivers are out dated and you may need to upgrade them.

Try both these solutions and then get back with a more detailed account. We may be able to go a bit further into the problem.

Andy - does the same thing happen in the curves dialog box?

You need to update your video card driver, and switch from 16 bit mode to 24/32 bit color.

    Default Mapping

I upgraded to 2003 AD. Now my Win 98 users can't map to a
network share but the XP clients can. The 98 clients are
    registered in DNS. ANy Ideas?

The following settings are required if you are supporting win9x computers.

To prevent domain controllers from requiring secure channel signing or
    encryption Open Active Directory
Users and Computers. In the console tree, right-click Domain Controllers,
click Properties, and then click the Group Policy tab. Go to the following 2
security settings and set them to
    disabled:

    *Computer Configuration\Windows
    Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options\Microsoft
Network Server: Digitally sign communications (always)

    *Computer Configuration\Windows
    Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options\Domain
Member: Digitally encrypt or sign secure channel data (always)
