Math in Freehand
I need some fancy equations on a poster.
I wrote them in LaTex, which makes pdf files, but can't open them in Freehand.
Is there a better program (that my school would have on the computers)?
or
Is there a way to get freehand to support all the equation formatting?
Thanks

Re: Math in Freehand
I receive all manner of dielines and CAD drawings as PDFs and never have any
trouble opening them in Freehand.
So, here are a couple questions:
? Do you get anything at all when attempting to open the PDF in Freehand?
? Are you exporting the LaTex file as intact text or outlines?
Additionally, you could try opening the file in Acrobat then resaving it to
strip out any propietary information left in the file, and if you can try
saving it as an earlier PDF version since sometimes Freehand can't handle the
latest version of a given file. You could also try opening it in Illustrator
(if that's available to you).
