    Default Matrix bullet time

Hey, was just wondering how to draw in the bullet effect flying accross the screen. I have a matrix takeoff kind of thing going on, i have all the camera shots and edited them in, i just need to draw in the bullets, anyone?

I would imagine you could download a bullet shape for the autoshape tool,
then apply the necessary effects, again, if you can't make your own, I'm
sure some suitable styles will be downloadable. Then perhaps apply a motion
    blur?

The best way to get bullets to fly across your screen in PS is to get a gun and shoot your monitor. PS isn't for video. You need a time-line based 3-D rendering video software animation package.

Didn't someone ask this same question a few weeks ago?

I have to find some humor in your post. It's great that you're trying something like this, but just realize that the producers and animators of The Matrix didn't figure out bullet time by posting on the Adobe Forum.

Photoshop does have some film editing capabilities. I would suggest however that you use a different program.

If you insist however, to make the bullet trail, take whatever image you want create a new layer, make a half oval that increases then decreases in size. Then in the layer styles, adjust the bevel and blending levels for a glass distorted effect.

Good luck its gonna take forever.

If you mean that elevated pond ripple effect (in a still image), you could make an elipse in Illustrator, move a copy of it to the side and scale the copy, and do a blend between the two; then expand the blend.

Copy and paste the result into Pshop (as a path), and stroke it with a soft brush on a doc filled with 50% grey. Then, use that as a displacement map for the bullet image.

Excellent trail you've laid there, John N.

I appreciate what you've written, and more importantly, why.
