Max4.3>W3D, complete failure

I use 3DS Max 4.3 and Director8.5. (but not much).
I have placed the Max exporter plugin file SW3D_Exp.dle (that exports max scenes as w3d files) into the Max 4.3 Plugin folder, but the plugin has completely failed to work. When I try to export Max scenes as w3d files, no wd3 format option appears. When I open Max 4.3 the following message appears, ?Loading DLLs SW3D_Exp.dle failed to initialise,? and Max 4.3 does not open. I have used 2 sources of the SW3D_Exp.dle plugin file, namely Director 8.5?s installation CD, and a download from Discreet?s web site. Any ideas?

The problem has now been fixed. Discreet E mailed me a copy of the Max - W3D conversion file(SW3D-Exp.dle). This copy of the file works OK.
