Maximum document size for Indesign CS for windows
I have created a monster file of 2 gigs in Quarkxpress 4.11 for windows. Unfortunately, Quark allowed me to save this file but now will not open it. I was contemplating the purchase of Indesign CS in the hopes that it would allow me to open my Quark document. I downloaded the Indesign CS trial version to try, but it won't open my document. Does anyone know how to get my document opened?

Go back to the last backup where QuarkXPress saved the file?
If QuarkXPress 4, the app which created it, could not open it, it's not suprising that InDesign could not as well. It may be toast.
It's hard to conceive of a page layout file that large. Almost always graphics are linked, not embedded.
