Maya Surface Shader
Hi, does anybody know how to export baked texture in Maya to W3D format? I used
the batch bake option to bake the texture and export using Maya 6.5's default
Shockwave 3D exporter, then I got a message saying "surface shader currently
not supported" . Did I do something worng? Thanks in advance!

Re: Maya Surface Shader
may be you have to check wich kind of shaders are supported by the shockwave3D exporter. shockwave3D can not use any kind of shader.

Re: Maya Surface Shader
Hi hondo,
thanks for the reply. I've figured out a way to solve this problem by baking
the texture to lightmap then reapply to the color channel. it works fine so
far. pity that MM seems to abandon the development of 3D part of their Director
product.
