Default Membership site

I have just started to do dynamic Sites. I have completed a tutorial for a
Record Store that taught me how to use templates to create a PHP site for a
small store. I connected to a database and returned records. I created an
administrative section where you could add or change CD information.

This was very informative. I think I am learning quickly.

I now have been asked to develop a new site using a database.

This database will be populated from another web site that provides the data.
(I don?t know how at this point to mine the data from this site, which is a
public site provided by a government entity)

Default Re: Membership site

Everything you have mentioned can be done and there are a number of tutorial
sites available with examples esp the membership area. (www.dmxfire.com is a
good one).

The trickiest issue will be the daily update. You will need to find out what
form the govt site can export in and then write a script to read the file
and update to your server.
