Microsoft 2003 and Adobe JPEGs
I have been using the last several years Acrobat to scan pics and save them to JPEG format. I have recently upgraded to Microsoft 2003. When I insert the Acrobat generated JPEGS, the picture hues are wrong (mostly Blu hues). I have Acrobat 5.05. Is this a compatibility issue between Office 2003 and Adobe?

Re: Microsoft 2003 and Adobe JPEGs
1. Acrobat 6.01 os the only version compatible with Offie 2003.
2. Using Acrobat for making JPGs is an awkward workflow, why not use a graphics application instead?

Re: Microsoft 2003 and Adobe JPEGs
Thanks for the response. I started to us Acobat after my scanner software did not work after upgrading to XP. Today, I got the latest XP scanner drivers and scanner software and it is now a one step process. I probably could have done this a year ago but aren't we creatures of habit! lol
I have not seen any other problems yet with compatibility with Office 2003. Probably will run into some down the line. Will wait and see if worth upgrading for $99.00.

Re: Microsoft 2003 and Adobe JPEGs
If you do upgrade, be sure to investigate which features you want/ned and which features are in Acrobat 6 Standard vs. Pro. The extra $50 for Pro is well worth it in my opinion.
