For those of you using 2003 for webs this is an update I urge you to
    install.
It introduces a new image optimizer tool to provide improved image sizes for
    online use.

Please, how do you access the image optimizer tool? I
installed the update, although I'm using only Pub 2003, the
rest of Office is still 2000, and I can't find it.

    Thanks

It's a new icon on the web tool bar. If you don't have the web toolbar go to
View menu, toolbars or optionally right click on the toolbar area, and add
it. Of course this requires a web publication.

Actually the new icon, Compress Pictures, is on the Picture toolbar. You
need to select a picture in order for the picture toolbar to appear, then
you can choose to globally compress pictures, or selectively, and is
available in both web and print.

    In news:u4q8v6odEHA.3212@TK2MSFTNGP12.phx.gbl,
