Microsoft Virtual Machine - Windows Networking

I recently upgraded from FAT32/Windows ME to NTFS/XP Pro. Now, some web pages won't load properly - I get an Install On Demand message which takes me to the Windows Update site, and have downloaded all critical updates and SP's, but still no Microsoft VM in the "Internet Options" - "Advanced" settings list. Anyone had similar problems or can suggest a cure? Thanks, Alan...

    Alan;
    Microsoft is removing Microsoft Virtual Machine from its websites and
    stopping distribution because of a court order:

    You can download Sun Java here:

    Hi JJ,

    I ve seen JVM only in WindowsUpdate page. Is that a full version or only a
    upgrade.

    Thank you.

    That is an update to what is already installed.
    The full version is no longer available from Microsoft.
