Mini Launcher - Macromedia Fireworks

I don't see the option to turn on the Mini-Launcher, in Fireworks MX 2004. It is still referred to in online help. There was an option in MX called Workspace, with a checkbox.........

    Hi Dave:

I see this mentioned in the help files, too. Interestingly, what is NOT
mentioned is the NEW setting in the General Preferences for the "Launch
Options." This setting allows you to toggle the Launch Window. Now, if you
leave the Launch Window set to display, it appears whenever there are no
    open files.

There is no "Workspace" Preference in the General Preferences tab anymore,
either (PC), even though that preference is still detailed in the help
    files.

I think that MM may have nixed the mini-launcher, because of the new Panel
layout and the Launch window - at least on the PC - but neglected to update
    the help files.

Anyone from MM care to jump in?

Sure. As you conjectured, we killed the mini-launcher in MX 2004 because
    of the new UI.
