Missing DLL file
I am a newbie here. After a month of sitting idle, I tried to log onto my
webpage and make changes with Contribute 3. I click the icon for Contribute 3
and I get this message about 12 times: "The Procedure entry point
GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic link library
PSAPI.DLL". Then the progrma closes and reverts to my desktop. I uninstalled
the whole Macromedia Suite ver 8 and retried just loading only COntribute.
Nope. Same message. Now I am sure some genuis in this forum can help me out. My
sink or swim option is to dump the 3.0 ver and just buy the new Contribute 4
and start fresh all over. But certainly, someone here in this group can help
this newbie. Please? Any advice? Sincerely, Lori in Virginia Beach, VA

C:\Program files\Macromedia\Contribute...3.11\ and delete the PSAPI.DLL
file and relaunch contribute. This is a known issue as it conflicts with
the PSAPI.DLL newer version either installed due to IE7 or norton...
hope this helps.

Re: Missing DLL file
Problem Solved! I followed the advice of those more learned colleagues here in
this forum and did as they suggested: renaming or outright deleting the
PSAPI.DLL fike. Worked like magic and stunned me how easy it was to fix it.
Here I was hoping a $150 upgrade would do the job, but it was ideal. Thank you
Friends, for showing me the solution(s) and making me want to come back to
more tricks up your sleeves.:heart;
