In AI10, on both the mac and pc, the drop shadow choice does not appear under either effect > stylize or filters > stylize. Any suggestions? Your help will be appreciated.

Re: missing drop shadow filter
I haven't tried trashing prefs on either the mac or pc...but since the effect is missing on both systems, i'm thinking there is a more unified explanation. On the pc, there's a file in Illustrator>Plugins>Illustrator Filters called Drop Shadow.aip yet the filter doesn't show up in Illustrator. On the Mac, there's a Drop Shadow file in essentially the same place in the application folder.
Why aren't they available in the application? Still holding out some hope for a good idea...
