    The prior messages are exprived on my provider, so not quite sure what
    you are talking about. There is the n.g FAQ in my sig. that will
    provide some information and pointers to the creation process of a big-8
    group. I do hope this will answer at least some of your questions.

    The comp.os.linux.redhat newsgroup already exists, and has been in
    existance for quite some time. The OP needs merely to convince his
    ISP or whomever manages his news server to carry it.

    Agreed. I just started a new thread on the matter (as this one is somewhat
    older, and getting dropped by my newsserver already, and the proposed
    creation is a somewhat different matter deserving of a new thread.)
