Default "Missing Shockwave Decompression XTRA" Help!

We have a small game on our website developed with Director long ago, and only
in IE7 are we finding some computers are getting the popup message "Missing
Shockwave Decompression XTRA". I've reinstalled IE7, Shockwave 11 (full), and
still get this message. The weird thing is that on my other computer, this app
works fine. Both Dells, hardly different. Can somebody please help me figure
out why one can't show the app?

    Thanks!

Like the error message suggests, your Shockwave installation can't find
    "swadcmpr.x32" - perhaps the auto-download checkbox wasn't ticked when
the file was published, or perhaps the auto-download URL fails to locate
the xtra, or perhaps this xtra isn't included in the "full" installer,
    or ...
FWIW: my installation of SW11 has a copy at 'C:\Documents and
    Settings\<username>\Application Data\Adobe\Shockwave Player

Can you provide a URL to the file that fails?

I am seeing this same issue, on both windows XP and mac os x 10.4

The xtra is simply not being installed, but it's needed. Please fix!

Go to the adobe site and download the shockwave player , it will get loaded in
the wrong place. They are placing it in the program files adobe file folder
xtras. You will find the file SWADCmpr.X32, copy and then go to your system or
system32 file folder, then to macromed, then shockwave and lastly Xtras. Paste
the file and restart your computer. Thats how I got mine to work but I haven't
figured out yet what happen to the sound.
