Missing 'Versions' menu

    Default Missing 'Versions' menu

I cannot see the 'versions' option in the ID file menu.

I am running VC, have opened a file with three versions ... but cannot then see a way of viewing/swapping/deleting these versions

Is this feature dependent upon any plug-ins (that might be missing/corrupt)?

No, but you may need to quit out of InDesign, then go to the Control Panel for VC and restart. Then open InDesign again.

Or you may need to throw away InDesign's preferences.

I believe version que is disabled by default in ID. And, IIRC, once
turned on in preferences requires a restart of ID.

    Thanks for the prompt replies...

ID has VC enabled (within the preferences)

and the system tray indicated that VC is operating normally...although whether there is a further test for this I do not know. The advanced administration pages certainly do not indicate any form of an error.

It's a recommended procedure that you restart Version Cue every so often (maybe once a week or as needed). In my experience, this sometimes solves problems of not being able to open projects, or other odditites.
