Default MMColParam and Default Show All Records?

I have a recordset and I want to set the default variable for MMColParam to
default to showing all records in case the page is called outside of the scope
    of the query.

    Is this possible?

I tried * or ALL but nodda.
    thanks

That would be no filter at all. SELECT whatever from table .. no WHERE.
