Model Rotation Problem - Macromedia Director 3D

I've got a model I made in 3ds max and I've exported it as a w3d file for director. I've applied behaviors to the model to rotate it with the left mouse button. However, the center point of rotation is not the center of my model so it gets rotated all over the place. How can I set the point of rotation to be the center of my model? I know in 3ds max it is as the center of the world (x=0, y=0, z=0) so I am assuming its something in director that I need to fix. Any ideas? ...

    Default Model Rotation Problem

I've got a model I made in 3ds max and I've exported it as a w3d file for
director. I've applied behaviors to the model to rotate it with the left mouse
button. However, the center point of rotation is not the center of my model so
it gets rotated all over the place. How can I set the point of rotation to be
the center of my model? I know in 3ds max it is as the center of the world
(x=0, y=0, z=0) so I am assuming its something in director that I need to fix.
Any ideas? I've had this work properly just the other day but for some reason
it doesn't work today and I can't figure it out.

It is not something in Director - the center of the world doesn't really
matter if you're rotating the model about it's own axis. What you want to do
is modify the objects pivot point in max - go into the Hierarchy panel and
modify the objects pivot. You can center it to the object with a click, or
click the Affect Pivot Only button and move it to the position you decide is
    "center".
Another option is to create a group with Lingo, place it at your desired
rotation spot, and then make the model a child of it. You can then simply
    rotate the group.
