    Default models from Maya

    Hello all,

    When I try to import a w3d model that I exported from Maya 4.5, I can't put
the "drag on model to rotate" option. whenever I go to apply the left mouse
trigger, I get a script error, that basically says Property not found.
    tGroupName=
    value(aScriptListElement.getAt(2))pGroupName

    #pGroupName

    Any assistance would be appreciated!

    Default Re: models from Maya

    Hello,

One of the graphic artists I work with had many problems exporting Shockwave
3D content from Maya that he never had in 3DS Max. On exporting the W3D,
Maya creates non-geometrical models, which cause problems once in Director.

Check your scene tree in Maya and try and clean it up. Group your models,
avoid unecessary non-geometrical nodes that could be turn into models on
    export.

    Cheers,
    Karl.

Also delete the things you don´t need within Director.
