I went into SCO Admin into the hardware portion where I had my system
automatically detect the modem. It detected it and then I checked the
box for it to answer automatically. It won't answer.

Does someone have a simple procedure for configuring a modem to
automatically answer incoming calls?

The SCO docs are jacked up. I tried following them for problems
dialing in, and when I try to determine why it won't answer, I get the
error with the following command:

# cu -ltty1A dir
Connect Failed: DEVICE LOCKED
