Default monitor sizes

New Dreamweaver user here. I have just created a website
http://www.baglanbuilders.co.uk when i open it on a 17 inch monitor it looks
fine, same with a 19 inch but when I open it on a 15 inch the space on the
right hand side of the table has gone. I thought the table would centre and
both spaces outside the table would disappear but this is not the case as the
left hand side remains. Are there any settings in Dreamweaver I should change?

This is not a DW issue. It's a page design issue. Read this -

ok thanks.

Another newbie question is that how do i stop my text from overlapping?
I have centerd a table and added a layer with text on top of it but when i
make the browser window smaller my text goes outside the table, as the table
shrinks to the correct proportional size. Is there a way to embed this layer
into the table?

No. This whole approach is troublesome.

Show me your code, please.
