monthly article with archive

I have a doctor who is writing a monthlly article on my site - i want users to
be able to search the back issues
does anyone have advice or know a good tutorial

I thought of listing each file in the database with a column called month
then the user could search like that -
are there any problems pulling articles from databases? I am currently using
ms access

Instead of putting them in a database have you considered using Coldfusion Verity Collections. You can put all the articles in a directory have Verity Index it and then run querys against them.
