More (and bizarre) printing problems
I have been having extremely odd printing problems, which keep getting weirder. I currently have OS 10.4.7 and Acrobat Professional 7.0 and Reader 7.0.7.
My first problem was the extremely SLOW printing of Pdf documents to my HP 1200 that I would experience. I tried installing different drivers from HP and OS X, to no avail.
My printer than started omitting the third page of three-page documents. At one point, an error message printed of its own accord on my printer, telling me to change my settings to language level 2 rather than 3. I had no idea what this meant, but have since learned how to do this (this is only in Reader, though). It did start printing the 3rd page of 3-page documents, but is now omitting the 5th page of 5-page documents.
I've tried printing to multiple printers, which all make the same mistake. I had a colleague print the same document from her computer (running Windows), and it did not similarly omit the the 5th page.
Oh, and it's still printing Pdfs too slowly.
Help, please.
