    Does anyone know of a way that I can treat a movie clip as a button. I need an on (rollOver) action script to affect a movie. HELP!!!!

    In the PI panel with the instance of the MC selected, change the symbol
    behavior to button.

    Sorry I should have been more clear. I need this clip to remain a movie clip but I want to assign a on (rollover) event to it.

    In Flash MX/MX 2004 you can apply an On event to an MC.

    Yeah....if you have MX or MX2004 try it.
