Moving a block of pages. - Adobe Indesign Windows

Usign V 3.0.1 InDesign with XP. I have a doent of some 140+ pages. I want to move pages 13-23 to a new place (say page 99 onwards), but I find it terribly confusing using the Pages (F12) function. The pages have elements (text and photographs) on them - the doent is almost finished. I am selecting and dragging the pages I want to use but can't move them all the way in one go... hard to explain. I was hoping there was an easier way, or if I'm doing it wrongly. When I search in the Index, tutorials and forum, I don't seem to be using the right words.

Hope someone can help! And thanks in advance.

Make the pages palette bigger so you can see them all. You should be able to
drag a range of pages with no problems then.

Depends on how far you're moving them. There's a script out there that
will allow you to move the pages where you want them. It adds the
functionality similar to move pages function in CS2.

Check the Adobe Studio Exchange and the scripting forum.

I wonder if it is because you are moving an odd number of pages. This could result in left and right hand pages switching in the transfer. Try moving an even number of pages and then moving the single one.

Just add a new page where you want it copy the page a paste it in.
Then remove the page from the first place.
