Moving files in ct3
Does anyone know if there is a way to move files in contribute?
We have a folder for news where we store the news articles. We have a folder
newsarchives that we move the files to when they are old. Is there any way to
do this in contribute?
I manually move them in ftp, but our marketing dept will be taking over the
article posting and they only use contribute, so they need a way to move the
files.
Thanks

Re: Moving files in ct3
One way is to open the article and publish it as a new page into the archive
directory, then go back to the orginal page and do file/delete page. You'd
still have to make the necessary link changes though since ctb doesn't do any
of that automatically.

Re: Moving files in ct3
If you need to move the contents of one folder to another, how can you use
Contribute to delete the old folder? I cannot find a way. It allows you to
grant users permission to delete files that they have created, but not to
delete FOLDERS that they have created.
