Default Moving from MS access to Mysql

Okay I have had it with ms access. I am thinking heavily about moving to mysql.
What kind of problems might I have? Will I have to rewite all my queries? How
hard is it to manage? Is there anything I should do/read ahead of time? Thanks..

I think you might be better to use MS SQL I think you may have an easier
transition. MS makes a free version see here.

Default Re: Moving from MS access to Mysql

When we moved some db's from Access to Oracle and MS Sql, we got intermittent
occurrences of "This Page Can't Be Displayed". We eventually solved that
problem by re-naming the new datasource, so that it was different than what the
    Access one was called.

Hmm so if I switch over is my whole site going to collapse, or not so much? Maybe MS sql is the way to go? Any more input? Thanks for the info thus far.

Moving away from MSaccess is already an improvment

MYsql: "Free" It takes time so set up
MSslq: "4000" very easy to set up
Oracle: "lotsofmoney" don't now how long
