    Default moving pages

im using IDCS2. i have my book open with all documents. i want to move pages across documents. my question is: is there a way to move pages within documents in a book similar to moving them within the same document with just dragging the page where u want it in the pages pallette?

id rather not use the "copy paste in place" method cos that messes up copyfitting and messes up InCopy assignments etc...

    thanks

    Default Re: moving pages

The Book is merely a method of organizing individual documents.

To move a page from one document to another, open both the source and desination documents. Arrange them so that both are visible. Open the pages palette with the source documnet active. Select the page icon from the pages palette and drag it over the destination document. This will add the page to the end of the destination document.

Limitations: This does not delete the page from the source document.
You must reposition the page in the desintation document if you did not want it at the end.
