moving separate color channels spatially
Hi girls and guys out there, I wonder if somebody kows the answer to some very strange thing. If you are you using PS on a MAC you are able to select a color channel and move whereever one wants to, if you try the same on a windows machine, the channels are locked. On the other hand, there are plugins which just do the trick. So can anybody tell me how make live easy and get rid of this bloody lock?

No problems in moving individual channels here. Just make the channel
active, hit the move tool and move

I am trying to compensate for my scanner, which is a semi a3 scanner,3 pass, but unfortunately, there is some small spatial shift within the color channel. So if I would find a way, there is noneed to buy a new one ....
