MPEG video on page won't load video--just audio - Macromedia Dreamweaver

I am trying to embed an mpeg vido using the plug-in feature. When I upload the page to the server it only shows the RealOne sound controls, but not the video. I tried importing the mpeg video into flash and exporting as a flash movie. But when I use the flash plug-in, it does nothing at all. What am I doing wrong?...

Try export movie to Quick Time Movie....
If you can`t do that from a program or don't have it..
Use Flash for the export proccess, after that you'll see that is easier
to lay down a QT movie in a Dreamweaver doent... I recently did that but
    it was a QTVR panorama..
and it worked....just put a link for updating or downloading new version
from apple if people has older version..
I hope this cvan help you...! bye

    Annerose,
Which flavor of mpg?? 3 or 4?
MPG is not a real good streaming file solution, the bandwidth needed is
    huge!
It's more suited for CD-ROM or DVD delivery.
For a real video file, you can't embed an mpg for a REAL OBJECT,
real is a proprietary object strictly for the REAL player, so your movie
must be encoded to the RM format, NOT MPG.
QT6 will encode and play MPG4 files though.
If you have the Helix Producer for real you should be ok encoding to
    whatever
    connection speed you need.
