MS Access 2000 Report format lost when printing to PDF
I am using Access 2000 and I am new to Adobe PDF generation.
From Access, I print to PDF file.
Once the PDF has been created and launched, I notice that some formatting has changed !
I have some vertical lines in my Access report, and they are hidden on some areas in the PDF, but are displayed fine in Access.
I have made sure that no text boxes or other field on my access report touches the vertical lines, yet they are screwed up.
Any guidance much appreciated
Thank you
Andre

Re: MS Access 2000 Report format lost when printing to PDF
The lines are likely a single pixel wide and they are not displaying correctly on your display. If you expand the display they should show fine. I do not know how to change the size of the lines in Access, but that is one alternative. Another alternative is to lower the Print Quality of the print to PDF. This is found under the Printer Properties > Advanced button. You may find that 300dpi is adequate for your need. For computer displays, you may prefer 144dpi.

Re: MS Access 2000 Report format lost when printing to PDF
Thanks for your help on this.
I changed my lines from Hairline to 1 pt and that has fixed the vertical line fading issues.
Funny that it is not a problem for horizontal lines.
