    Default MS Publisher compatibility

This is probably a stretch, but worth a shot: I have a friend who wants to print a complex form from an MS Publisher file. His designer wants to create it using an Adobe Product - [Illustrator, InDesign, or Acrobat Pro - CS] - preferably on a Mac. I'm wondering if there are any plug-ins that could help in exporting or converting a document into an MS Publisher-friendly format. The closest we've found so far is this: Creating a PDF and exporting in MS Word format using Acrobat Pro. Naturally, the export is not perfect but might work. Is this as close as we can get, or is there a better approach?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Default Re: MS Publisher compatibility

That's probably as close as you'll get. You can place PDF files directly into InD as a graphic, but you can't manipulate them. There are no plug-ins or converters that I know of to assist you.

"MS Publisher-friendly" is one of the world's great oxymorons.
