MS-SQL troubles
I have a user who needs access to my SQL server. He can ping the server, but he
cannot setup an ODBC connection. I am using SQL authentication and I have setup
a Login ID and Password for him. I have no problem setting up my own ODBC
connection. I just converted over from Win. 2000 to Win. 2003 Server could
this cause a problem?

Re: MS-SQL troubles
Problem resolved. The network admin did not install the SQL Services Pack 4. This prevented the port from being accessible from outside the network. Thanks for your help ScareCrow.
