MSR for 8?
Well at long last after numerous requests I have our copies of CS2. These came with the Acrobat 8 installer, having first read the instructions I installed CS2 without Acrobat 7. All is fine and dandy with this but it is only when I come to the Acrobat 8 installer that I am advised in the read me that a minimum system requirement of X.4.3 is this correct? Im on X.3.9 BTW having done this I have removed 8 and gone back to the CS2 installer disks to custom install the missing 7 however it won't recognize my installs. Which serial number should I put in at the prompt my CS1? when trying to point to the apps there are just grayed out. At this point I should also say that I could not find an un-installer for acrobat 6 in the App folder so I had only removed to my desktop for the time being. I have several more of these to do yet so should I just perform the standard instal on the rest? again all X.3.9 looks like i'll try for tiger in the next budget… Thanks

Yes. It just fails on Mac OS X 3.

Re: MSR for 8?
Try installing Acrobat Pro 7 only fromm CS2 and use the CS2 serial Number.

Re: MSR for 8?
Aandi, would have been better to make a point of this on the instal instructions sheet. As things happen I ended up going the long way around this having to custom instal twice. The first point at which I found the MSR was on the Acrobat 8 DVD but I may have over looked something. The serial number that was needed was the CS1 one. I keep a data sheet of all the serial number upgrade paths so it was fairly straight forward and is working just fine from my quick tests. Luckily I had only set 3 machines going with the upgrades the rest will now get the standard install. Thanks for the help.
