Just today MT-Newswatcher started freezing and locking up my computer
when it gets to the "filtering threads" part of downloading the group
list from rec.photo.digital.

I read three other groups and just started on this one and it works fine
on those. I have filters turned off and even threw out "MT-newswatcher
filters."

I ran disk first aid and Nortons and they found no problems. I normally
use the news.CIS.DFN.DE list, but I also tried it from the
news.bellatlantic.net list and they both froze my computer (had to
restart.)

Any ideas?
