    Default Multiple DW IDE Instances

Not sure what topic this would fall under...

We use DW to edit independant HTML files.
Is it possible to launch separate instances of the DW IDE for each file?
Instead of opening all files inside a single DW IDE.

    Thanks

Excellent. That is good to know.

Even if you could, I wouldn't have recommended it as DW is such a memory
    hog.

Why would you want it in separate instances instead of separate documents? Also, FWIW you can't run two instances on windows, on mac I think there are ways to do it, but I wouldn't recomend it.

Here's why I want to ... I want to have an instance running with my dev site, an instance running for my staging site and an instance running for my production site. That way I don't have to switch sites every time I want to copy one line of code and update the same file accross multiple servers with just that one line of code ... a major pain. Typically I forget that I've switch servers multiple times and now I'm working on the production box because that's the last site I changed to ... whoops ... the boss walks in and wants to know why he's getting calls that wierd debug stuff is showing up and the production site doesn't seem to be working anymore...

I think I'll just install VPC and run a VM with multiple instances of DW on each "box" as a work around...
