Multiple joins, aliases and column names - Microsoft SQL / MS SQL Server

Hi All! I have a problem converting an Access DB application to SQL Server. I use a query to join a table twice, like SELECT * FROM (Table1 AS A JOIN Table2 AS B ON A.Field=B.Field) JOIN Table2 AS C ON A.Field=C.Field It works OK, The only problem is that NO distinction is made between Alias B and Alias C columns names. Access, instead, returns the same recordset BUT makes distinction in column names, renaming them B.field1, B.field2... and C.field1, C.field2... and so on. How can this be done in SQLServer??? Thanx to anyone answering Bye Yoyo...

Default Multiple joins, aliases and column names

    Hi All!

I have a problem converting an Access DB application to SQL Server.

I use a query to join a table twice, like

    SELECT * FROM (Table1 AS A JOIN Table2 AS B ON A.Field=B.Field)
    JOIN Table2 AS C ON A.Field=C.Field

It works OK, The only problem is that NO distinction is made between Alias B
and Alias C columns names. Access, instead, returns the same recordset BUT
makes distinction in column names, renaming them B.field1, B.field2... and
    C.field1, C.field2... and so on.

How can this be done in SQLServer???

    Thanx to anyone answering

    Bye

Just explicitly name your columns. Using SELECT 8 is not recommended anyway
for various reasons, for example that you return more data than might be
    strictly needed:

    SELECT A.field as A_field, B.field as B_field etc FROM (Table1 AS A JOIN
    Table2 AS B ON A.Field=B.Field)
    JOIN Table2 AS C ON A.Field=C.Field
