Default mx export to photoshop 6 or higher need help

I have been trying to find updates and plugins with no success. I need to find
somthing that can allow me to export to a .psd* format for photoshop 6 or
higher. The psd 5 is not going to do it for me. If there is nothing out there
then sombody realy needs to fix that.

I agree that FreeHand's .psd 5 export format is extremely limited. NEVER use
it to export CMYK artwork, because black will be missing from CMYK color
    mixes.

What .psd 6 features do you need?

Do you have Illustrator? Have you tried exporting to an AI file, opening in
    Illustrator and saving as .psd?

You do know that Illustrator is the essential 'plug in' for FreeHand, don't
    you? ;-)
