my first digital - Photography

Hi to all. I'am just starting with (digital) photografy and shoot a few photo's with my old Minolta Dimage 7 (just bought a new one the 7Hi) Could you please review this photo and tell me what you think. I am just learning and like the use your proffecional and amateur advice to learn and enjoy this wonderfull hobby even more. The photo you see was not edited with any program and just so out of the camera. It was only mad smaller for the www.     Hi to all.

    I'am just starting with (digital) photografy and shoot a few photo's with my

    Nice photo. The background is confusing. Some image editing programs let
    you replace the background - in that photo, a blue sky would be nice. The
    newest version of Paint Shop Pro has a background selector utility that is
    said to make it easier to select the background - I haven't tried it myself.
    You can try it by downloading the trial version from www.jasc.com.
