my user login page is always the default page
:brokenheart;
my coldfusion application has an login page, some users logged in and
saved some page to favorites, then close the browser without logoff from the
application. 5 or 10 minutes later they open the browser and click on the
favorite without logging into the application, how do i make it always go to
the login screen ? I try session variable, but it doesn't work, because my
session time out has to be 4 hours.
i have some expert browser users, there should be a way to prevent this
from happening, right? help! please!

Re: my user login page is always the default page
Put the following in your application.cfm page. This will delete session
variables when a browser closes, forcing them to log in again if they go to a
page that requires session variables.
<!--- Code below deletes sessions if browser is closed --->
<CFIF ISDEFINED("Cookie.CFID") AND ISDEFINED("Cookie.CFTOKEN")>
<CFSET CFID_LOCAL = COOKIE.CFID>
<CFSET CFTOKEN_LOCAL = COOKIE.CFTOKEN>
<CFCOOKIE NAME="CFID" VALUE="#cfid_local#">
<CFCOOKIE NAME="CFTOKEN" VALUE="#cftoken_local#">
</CFIF>
