love it! that alpac website with the navigating "lama" is great.

everything loads fast and all the buttons work. i'm using netscape 7 on a mac in os9.

maybe you can help me with preloaders? looks like you got them down pretty good.

    keep it up, jemac

lol! well think again - I'll give you my secrete, without it, I would be able to make 1!!!

It's somthing I got from the Flash MX course so I'll gladly shar it with you.

Now, when you open it, its really ugly, so you have to use ur imagination.

What I do, is two things:
    1. Ctrl B (to break up the bar from the "loading words" double click the bar (rectangle) to get inside it - then change its colour, dowble click out of it, Ctrl Z (undo) and then u have just changed its colour without harming the componant(It stil works) I was very pleased when i did that. Then, If you want to hide the word "loading" what i normaly do (seeing the preloader is on its own layer) is add a lay above the preloader one, and add a blank key frame in frame 2, then in frame one draw a black (or what ever the colour the background is) non-stroke rectangle over the loading area and write what ever you weant (i said buffering) ontop of it.

What you do if you do ont want a loading bar there, is grab that componant - switch to the propertise tab and chance its alpha valua to zero. add a blank key frame in frome 2. Then add a new movie clip sympol in frame one, and tere you go!

It's really easy, and all my preloaders are made out of that one thing.

Youll have to do a serch in the library of the file im sending you to find the preloader componant - It's caled "preloader Componant". lol

    Hope this helped you!.
