My website plays uncontrolled, frame after frame, instead of with buttons - Macromedia Flash Sitedesign

Hi there, Ive created a website, which works fine in the flash player, but when it is loaded in a browser it has troubles. Instead of the navigation buttons leading where they are supposed to, they simply cause the site to scroll one frame forward in the current scene, one by one usually, but inconsitantly and eratically. Im wondering if the problem has to do with the way its framed in the html window for browsing. Maybe the html comand is simply to play the file so it just starts going, instead of following the action script. Maybe you could ...

    Hi there,

Ive created a website, which works fine in the flash player, but when it is loaded in a browser it has troubles. Maybe you could take a look and see what you think...

after the brief intro, when you get to the navigation page and select any choices (contact, links, etc.) they cause images from the portfolio section to pop up and start skipping through the frames of images in that scene. Sometimes it will continue to play through the frames wether you press any buttons or not. This problem has only occured since the page was placed in an html frame, although a similar trouble occured when I would stop and then press play in the flash mx scene test window. Why is it playing uncontrollably instead of listening to the action script? It is ingoring the links and stop commands and going recklessly forward.

Your help is appreciated, I hope you can offer some insight into the matter...

    thanks
    frank
