MySQL 4.x
I have downloaded the latest version of Colfusion MX develper and would like to
link it to a MySQL 4.x database which I am using to run phpBB (I need to access
some of the data from the forums for other purposes). I noticed on the
Datasources part of the CFIDE Administrator, there is an option of MySQL 3.x,
but not 4.x. How can I set up CF to use MySQL 4.x?

Re: MySQL 4.x
Excellent reference from Bryan's post, exactly what I was looking for too.
A few quick comments to others who are looking for this answer. You will have
to search around a bit for the actual download of the connector file. The
technote points to the documentation on the connector.
The connector is currently located at:
http://dev.mysql.downloads
As of 6/10/2005 the generally available release was Connector/J 3.1
